Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced consultant who combines a strong technology background with the ability to advise clients on business challenges and digital transformation. This person has evolved beyond purely technical delivery and is comfortable acting as a trusted advisor. They lead workshops, shape transformation roadmaps, guide delivery, and proactively identify opportunities to create additional business value for clients. They take ownership of client success—from the first conversation through successful delivery and long-term partnership development.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate has built a solid technical foundation and successfully transitioned into a client-facing consulting role. They are comfortable discussing business strategy with executives, facilitating workshops with stakeholders, and working with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation. Rather than selling technology, they help clients make better business decisions through the practical application of cloud, software, data, and AI.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The consultant will:

• Build trusted relationships with clients and become their technology advisor.

• Lead workshops, assessments, and discovery sessions.

• Translate business challenges into practical transformation roadmaps.

• Advise on Cloud, Software Engineering, Data, and AI.

• Lead consulting engagements from discovery through successful delivery.

• Identify opportunities for follow-on initiatives, managed services, and long-term partnerships.

• Support proposal development and pre-sales activities.

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to CGI's consulting capability.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ years of IT experience.

• 5+ years in a client-facing consulting or advisory role.

• Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives.

• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions.

• Experience working in challenging and changing environments.

Preferred:

• Experience contributing to proposals or pre-sales.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary consulting engagements.

Technical Expertise The candidate should have experience in several of these areas:

• Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

• Software Engineering

• Data Platforms and Data Architecture

• Artificial Intelligence / Generative AI

• Digital Transformation Depth in every area is not expected; breadth and the ability to connect technology to business outcomes are more important.

• Fluent Dutch (at least A2+, moving to B2)

• Fluent English

• TOGAF

• Azure, AWS or Google Cloud certifications

• AI certifications

• Enterprise Architecture experience

• Existing professional network in the Eindhoven region
