Innovation Center Lead

CGI’s Business Consulting and IT Strategic Advisory team is looking for an Innovation Centre Lead: an innovative, dynamic, and results-oriented individual who wants to join a team of professionals dedicated to supporting the growth and transformation of our clients.

In this role, you will help raise awareness of the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, identify relevant use cases, and facilitate discussions that transform ideas into concrete, responsible initiatives aligned with business objectives. Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Act as a change agent to inspire and support clients facing a wide range of transformational challenges.

• Prepare and organize Innovation Centre visits to showcase CGI’s capabilities, solutions, and partnerships

• Advise clients on ideas, innovations, use cases, and technology solutions, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence

• Present AI opportunities in an accessible manner while considering its limitations, risks, and success factors

• Help clients identify, structure, and prioritize high-value AI use cases

• Design and facilitate workshops focused on innovation, ideation, user experience, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence

• Use frameworks and tools such as Design Thinking, Business Model Canvas, experience mapping, and use case prioritization

• Contribute to AI awareness and adoption initiatives for executive, business, and technology audiences

• Collaborate with specialists in data, artificial intelligence, user experience, strategy, transformation, and technology

• Work closely with CGI business units to support innovation and AI initiatives for their clients

• Develop and maintain knowledge related to innovation, artificial intelligence, and their applications across multiple industries

• Monitor emerging trends, new AI tools, and evolving market practices

• Partner with Innovation Centre leadership to define and prioritize the Centre’s objectives

• Engage with various business units to understand their priorities and needs

• Demonstrate leadership and encourage clients to adopt a structured, responsible, and value-driven innovation approach

• Build effective working relationships with senior-level stakeholders, both internally and externally

• Prepare and deliver compelling, inspiring content, demonstrations, and presentations

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration through CGI’s collaboration tools

• Build strong relationships with innovation and artificial intelligence communities

• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages creative thinking

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• University degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Design, Innovation, or equivalent work experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in consulting, innovation, digital transformation, product management, or technology solution integration

• Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and a solid understanding of its primary organizational applications

• General understanding of generative AI, intelligent assistants, AI agents, automation, and data utilization

• Ability to discuss key issues related to AI adoption (governance, ethics, security, privacy, data quality, risk management, employee adoption, etc.)

• Ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor messaging to executive, business, and technical audiences

• Creativity, curiosity, and initiative in problem-solving

• Ability to independently design and deliver client visits, presentations, and workshops

• Strong prioritization skills and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

• Ability to drive business engagement and contribute to business development opportunities

• Good knowledge of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotic process automation (RPA), and blockchain

• Experience in requirements gathering, ideation, and solution design. Experience using generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar solutions is considered an asset

• Experience identifying, evaluating, or prioritizing AI use cases is considered an asset

• Experience in innovation governance and/or Design Thinking is considered an asset

• Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken, written)

Location: Montreal Work mode: Hybrid

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 80 000$ et 155 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
