Technical Lead - Cisco ACI & Security (m/f/d)

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead the network architecture behind a highly secure, multi-site private-cloud environment. You will take technical ownership of data centre fabric, network security and segmentation while leading a team of experienced network engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will shape the architecture while remaining directly involved in its implementation and automation.

Please note: Тhe role requires onsite presence in the Netherlands three days per week, every week.

• Own the end-to-end network architecture across Cisco ACI, VMware NSX and Palo Alto technologies

• Design secure multi-tenant network segmentation and boundary protection

• Lead and coach a team of 4-5 network engineers

• Remain hands-on across design, automation, proof of concept and rollout activities

• Represent the network stream in formal architecture and critical design reviews

• Define the network-as-code approach using Ansible, APIs and Git

• Lead site cutovers, acceptance testing and transition to operations

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Active and transferable SECRET-level security clearance - mandatory from the start date (the clearance process can be supported by CGI)

• 10+ years of professional network engineering experience

• 5+ years of experience leading data centre networking teams

• Expert-level Cisco ACI or comparable EVPN/VXLAN architecture expertise

• Strong Palo Alto architecture experience

• VMware NSX overlay design experience

• Strong knowledge of security zoning and segmentation in multi-tenant environments

• Understanding of AAA architecture, including TACACS+ and ADFS

• Practical experience with Ansible, APIs and Git-based network automation

• Professional English at C1 level or above

• CCIE/CCNP-DC, PCNSE, VMware Avi or classified WAN experience is considered an advantage
