Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Asset & Configuration Manager to own and continuously improve the Asset and Configuration Management process across the IT environment. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of IT Asset and Configuration data, maintain accurate CMDB records, support IT Service Management processes, and collaborate with technical teams, service providers and customers to ensure compliance with ITIL best practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Own and continuously improve the Asset & Configuration Management process.

• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Asset records.

• Define, implement, and continuously improve Asset Management and Configuration Management processes in line with ITIL best practices.

• Administer and maintain data in the Asset Manager system, including the creation, update, and validation of IT Asset records.

• Ensure Configuration Items (CIs) are identified, documented, related, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.

• Ensure that all Configuration Item changes are implemented only through approved Change Management processes.

• Perform regular audits of the CMDB and IT Asset records, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions.

• Monitor data quality and drive initiatives to improve the quality of data within the CMDB and Asset Manager.

• Coordinate Asset and Configuration Management activities with Change, Release, Incident, Problem, Service Level Management

• Prepare regular operational and management reports, KPIs, and trend analyses.

• Support the lifecycle management of IT Assets, including hardware, software, and software licenses.

• Coordinate data reconciliation between Discovery tools, the CMDB, and the Asset Manager.

• Support the onboarding of new services into the Asset and Configuration Management processes.

• Support internal and external audits related to IT Assets and Configuration data.

• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and governance standards.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Minimum Education: Secondary education with school-leaving examination (High School Diploma) Language Skills: Slovak – Advanced (C1); English – Intermediate (B1) Driving Licence: Category B Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or field is an advantage.
