Training & Credentialing Manager

Position Description:

The Training & Credentialing Manager ensures every examiner is properly trained, certified, and prepared for complex VA examinations. They manage competency programs, annual recertifications, and specialty training. Their work keeps the clinical workforce compliant and mission ready.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Manage DMA certification workflows and annual examiner recertification

• Oversee onboarding, competency validation, tele‑C&P training, ACE training, and all specialty‑training programs

• Design, update, and maintain specialty training modules aligned with DBQ best practices

• Track examiner compliance, performance trends, remediation needs, and retraining requirements

• Maintain LMS systems, credential records, and required audit documentation

• Integrate updates from MDEO Handbooks, DBQ revisions, and SHA changes into training and certification processes

• Coordinate complex‑case training and specialty competency development with the Medical Director

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree

• 5–7 years healthcare training or credentialing experience

• Experience managing LMS platforms and credentialing workflows

Desired qualifications/non essential skills required

• ATD CPLP or NAMSS CPCS

• Experience in federal medical certification programs

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 - $172,400.00.
