Winter 2027 Co-op: Internal Auditor (8 months)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Primary role: Directly under the supervision of the external auditors perform substantive testing procedures; coordinate, and conduct detailed walkthroughs of financial processes;

On occasion: Undertake business process and internal audits, risk assessments focusing on controls, processes and business systems to provide management value adding recommendations: o Complete mandates in accordance with the internal audit procedures and the standards of the internal audit profession, and consistently apply and promote CGI frameworks; o Present clearly and concisely to management in both written and verbal form, descriptions of controls, the operational deficiencies and provide remediating solutions during and at the end of each mandate

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Possess basic knowledge of financial processes

• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and demonstrate professional scepticism consistently;

• Good interpersonal skills;

Training Preferred (academic, other):

• Registered or in the process of registering to CPA program

• Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with both national and international clients.
