Position Description:

You will be responsible for building and maintaining the Azure Data Plataform that provides capabilities in the area of data management such as ingestion, transformation, centralized data storage, data quality, and data provisioning for analytics and BI within our Clients teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Providing well documented platform with attention to detail.

• Build out Data Lake ingestion and staging of corporate data sources for Analytics purposes using Azure Data Factory.

• Design and implement Data Lake lifecycle processes that support effective data provisioning capabilities to feed analytical requirements

• Implement ETL routines using Azure Data Factory to load transformed data into the Data Warehouse.

• Work closely with Power BI report creators empowering them to map reports to standardized data models that are under pinned by the Data Warehouse solution.

• Diagnose, fix, improve, and automate complex issues across the entire stack to ensure maximum uptime and performance

• Collaborate across the team on proper use/integration of our platform

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with team members

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years experience in business data warehouse / data lake and analytics/BI architectures, including the design and development across multiple technologies and analytical platforms

• Deep understanding of data processes, data modelling, data pipelines (ETL), data lifecycle etc

• Ability to develop ETL/ELT pipelines for processing and handling large amount of data and monitor the performance of the pipeline and other cloud services

• Ability to develop BI data models and create BI reports

• Experience in delivering analytics development within a DevOps environment with excellence shown in backlog planning, building, testing and delivery

• Solid knowledge of Azure analytic components such as Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Services and Power BI Services

• Knowledge of data visualization best practices

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under continual deadline constraints are necessary

• Fluent in written and spoken English
