• An interest in modern software engineering practices, including agile development, continuous delivery, code review, testing, and refactoring

• Enthusiasm for technology and problem-solving, demonstrated through professional experience, academic work, personal projects, or other learning opportunities

• A willingness to share knowledge, support teammates, and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications

Required:

• A strong academic record and a BS or MS degree in a field with meaningful mathematical and computing content, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics, or equivalent practical experience

• A quality-focused approach to software development, including experience with testing practices and tools such as TDD, BDD, Cucumber, and Cypress

• Experience with one or more database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redshift

Preferred:

• Experience with web-based development and visualization technologies used to represent large and complex datasets and relationships

• Knowledge of mathematical concepts relevant to the role, such as statistics, time-series analysis, asset pricing theory, or optimization algorithms

• Familiarity with algorithms and data structures

• Understanding of Multi-Asset investment strategies, financial instruments, derivatives, and capital markets

• Experience partnering with front office business clients, such as Portfolio Managers, Quants, and Traders

• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, or agentic systems using modern LLMs and AI development frameworks.

• Practical experience with modern AI engineering patterns such as agent orchestration, tool/function calling, retrieval-based systems, prompt and context engineering, structured outputs, evaluation, observability, or guardrails.
