Your Task

This role involves assuming responsibility for internal controls and monitoring accounting and the preparation of financial statements on an ongoing basis according to financial accounting and taxation aspects in the high level task area. You will ensure that financial accounting complies with HGB and IFRS in the assigned companies by using suitable control measures.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in financial reporting and the preparation of financial reports

• Prepare statements on accounting and provide support for tax audits

• Be involved in the preparation of Group wide accounting policies

• Act as a central point of contact on all issues that relate to accounting and the preparation of financial statements

• Monitor national and international developments related to new requirements, regulations and laws on financial reporting and accounting, and devise implementation measures

• Act as a point of contact for external auditors

• Manage projects with strategic relevance and be involved in Group projects

Your Profile

We are looking for a qualified Financial Accounting Professional with expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards (HGB and IFRS), along with strong analytical and project management capabilities.

Must Have Skills

• Responsibility for internal controls and monitoring accounting

• Experience in preparation of financial statements according to financial accounting and taxation aspects

• Knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code) accounting standards

• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

• Experience with financial reporting and preparation of financial reports

• Ability to prepare statements on accounting

• Experience providing support for tax audits

• Experience in preparation of Group-wide accounting policies

• Ability to monitor national and international developments related to new requirements, regulations, and laws on financial reporting and accounting

• Experience devising implementation measures for regulatory changes

• Ability to act as a point of contact for external auditors

• Project management skills with strategic relevance

• Experience in Group projects
