Cloud Adoption Manager / Cloud Customer Success Manager – T Cloud Public

Cloud Adoption Manager - T Cloud Public Netherlands Drive workload migration. Grow platform consumption. Accelerate cloud transformation.

ABOUT THE ROLE Winning a customer is only the beginning. The real opportunity and the real measure of success is how fast a customer moves meaningful workloads to T Cloud Public, how deeply they adopt the platform's capabilities, and how consistently their consumption grows over time. This role owns that motion, end to end. As Cloud Adoption Manager, your primary mission is to make customers do more on our platform. Every quarter. Every conversation. Every engagement. You will work with a portfolio of T Cloud Public customers in the Netherlands, building adoption roadmaps, identifying workload migration opportunities, challenging customers on their cloud strategy, and influencing the CIOs, CTOs, and architects who determine how much of their landscape lands on our platform. You will work closely with the Product & Growth Lead, the Partner Ecosystem Lead, the Cloud Architect, and the broader T Cloud Public team to remove blockers and create the conditions for adoption at scale. Customer relationships matter but they are a means to an end. The objective is platform growth.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Cloud adoption strategy per customer: building and executing adoption roadmaps that identify which workloads can move to T Cloud Public, in what sequence, and on what timeline and driving execution against those roadmaps with urgency

• Workload migration pipeline: proactively identifying workloads across your customer portfolio that are candidates for migration, on-premise, competitive cloud, or legacy and building the business case and technical path to move them to T Cloud Public

• Consumption and platform growth: owning a clear consumption growth target per account, tracking it regularly, and intervening early when growth stalls with a plan, not just a status update

• Executive influence: building trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, cloud architects, and platform owners and using those relationships to accelerate adoption decisions

• Adoption roadmap facilitation: running structured workshops, cloud strategy sessions, and QBRs that move customers forward on their T Cloud Public journey — committing to the next milestone, not just reviewing the last

• Early risk identification: identifying adoption gaps, under-utilised capabilities, and strategic drift early, and addressing them through increased platform engagement

• Voice of the customer: translating adoption blockers, capability gaps, and customer requirements into structured input for the Product & Growth Lead and T-Systems Group product teams

• Measurable adoption KPIs: owning and reporting on consumption ARR, workload count, platform expansion rate, and adoption milestone completion per account

YOUR PROFILE: EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• 3–5+ years in a cloud adoption, cloud consulting, technical account management, or cloud sales role with a track record of growing platform consumption and driving workload migrations

• Direct experience at or with a major hyperscaler: AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure in a role focused on adoption and consumption growth

• Understanding of enterprise cloud architecture: IaaS, PaaS, container platforms, hybrid cloud, sovereign cloud, and the workload patterns that drive migration decisions

• Experience building and presenting adoption roadmaps and migration business cases to technical and executive audiences

• Familiarity with cloud economics: TCO analysis, consumption-based pricing, ARR/NRR mechanics, and how to build a financial case for workload migration

• Ability to read consumption trends, identify growth signals and risk indicators, and act on them proactively

• Experience with sovereign or regulated cloud environments is a strong advantage in the Dutch market

• Fluency in Dutch and English; essential for enterprise customer engagement and internal T-Systems reporting

YOUR PROFILE: CHARACTER & APPROACH

• You measure your own success in workloads migrated and consumption grown; you are motivated by customer outcomes, not activity metrics

• You challenge constructively: you ask uncomfortable questions about cloud ambition and hold customers accountable to adoption commitments, with empathy and respect

• You are a structured thinker: you build adoption roadmaps that are credible, sequenced, and executable (not wish lists)

• You influence at multiple levels: equally effective in a technical deep-dive with a cloud architect and a strategic conversation with a CIO

• You are proactive and create momentum where it is missing; you call before problems appear and identify opportunities before they become obvious

• You communicate with directness and warmth; customers trust you because you tell them what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear

• You bring calm and structure to complex situations, and you help customers find clarity in ambiguous cloud decisions

HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED

• Consumption ARR growth per account (quarter over quarter)

• Number of new workloads migrated or onboarded per quarter

• Adoption milestone completion rate against customer roadmaps

• Platform expansion rate: new services and capabilities activated per account

• Churn rate and NRR across the portfolio

• Customer-identified migration pipeline value
