Introduction to the job

The Manufacturing – YieldStar (YS) Senior Technical Support Engineer plays a critical technical leadership role within YieldStar (YS) manufacturing operations in Linkou, serving as a senior system-level technical authority and issue owner for complex, high-impact, and recurring production disturbances across mature YieldStar (YS) platforms.

The position drives technical assessments, troubleshooting strategies, and technical decision-making under production pressure, while acting as a technical control tower that integrates inputs from Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical Support teams to enable structured problem-solving, effective escalation handling, and factory-level technical alignment.

Due to the nature of factory operations and escalation support, this role requires participation in rotating shifts, including evening shifts up to 01:00/03:00. Detailed shift arrangements are described in the Other Information – Shift Pattern section below.
