Role and responsibilities

The Supplier Audit team identifies risks and drives continuous improvement in key processes at suppliers related to Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost reduction and Sustainability (QLTCS) performance.

As Supplier Lead Auditor you act as an independent expert to identify risks, verify risk mitigations and drive quality improvements at suppliers and in the ASML supply chain.

The Supplier Lead Auditor plans, executes, and leads cross-sector audits versus defined ASML requirements and standards. He/she supports the Category Management and Supplier Account Teams in driving effective resolution of key quality, logistics, or technology issues in the supply chain by executing theme audits at suppliers. Because of risk based supplier audits, QLTC risks are identified before supplier selection via focused selection audits.

Together with the category management the supplier strategy is translated in an agreed audit plan. This includes the alignment with the worldwide audit strategy. To drive impact, audits are managed end-2-end, from planning, to execution and follow-up. Regular status updates are provided to the cluster, categories and other stakeholders. Finally the verification of the improvements is done in collaboration with the supplier account teams.
