We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead and drive warehouse operations within our Batam Logistics Platform. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing receiving, inventory, issuing, and shipping activities while ensuring operational excellence, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will lead a team in delivering high standards of productivity, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and logistics performance while supporting Schneider Electric's world-class supply chain operations.
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory management, material issuing, and shipping.
Ensure smooth warehouse operations to support on-time delivery and production continuity.
Drive inventory accuracy and maintain compliance with warehouse procedures and standards.
Monitor warehouse capacity utilization and optimize material flow.
Ensure incoming materials match purchase orders and delivery requirements.
Improve receiving efficiency and lead times.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count activities.
Ensure compliance with FIFO and inventory control practices.
Oversee shipment preparation and outbound logistics activities.
Ensure products are packed, labeled, and shipped according to customer requirements.
Minimize shipping delays and improve shipping accuracy.
Support customer satisfaction through reliable logistics execution.
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
Identify talent and support succession planning initiatives.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Conduct training and competency development programs.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and facility readiness.
Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Drive productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
Support warehouse development and new product transfer projects.
Participate in operational excellence and lean initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Experience leading operational teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and inventory control.
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership and people management skills.
Good communication skills in English.
Knowledge of logistics operations, health & safety practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
