Responsible for managing the natural gas supply portfolio of RJ and SP concessionaires, ensuring energy availability, competitive acquisition costs, and balance between operational risk, demand, and business profitability. Acts in the contracting of firm, flexible, and SPOT gas modalities, performing market analyses and monitoring impacts on the average gas cost.
Plan short, medium, and long-term natural gas supply needs.
Negotiate and contract natural gas in the following modalities:
Firm: guarantee of continuous and predictable supply.
Flexible: meeting demand variations with greater operational flexibility.
SPOT: punctual and opportunistic acquisitions to capture better market conditions.
Conduct public calls, competitive processes, and quotations with gas producers, marketers, and traders.
Evaluate commercial proposals considering price, volume, term, flexibility, guarantees, and risks.
Daily monitoring of gas acquisition, transport, and other charges.
Monitor the weighted average gas cost (CMPG) and its tariff impacts before regulatory agencies.
Develop strategies to reduce gas cost and mitigate penalties for exceeding or contractual imbalances.
Prepare scenarios of supply, demand, prices, and market exposure.
Interact with Commercial, Financial, Operations, and Controllership areas.
Prepare executive presentations and opinions for corporate approval of supply contracts.
Required academic background: Engineering, Administration, Technology, or Information Area.
3-5 years of experience in the natural gas market and commercialization. (Mandatory)
3-5 years of experience in Gas pricing, transport, and molecule formation.
3-5 years of experience in Energy and gas contract management.
3-5 years of experience in Energy planning and demand forecasting.
3-5 years of experience in advanced Excel.
English level: Intermediate
Spanish level: Intermediate
3 years in regulation of the piped gas sector.
3 years in financial modeling and risk analysis.
3 years of experience in Power BI.
