At Electrolux, as a leading global appliance company, we strive every day to shape living for the better for our consumers, our people and our planet. We share ideas and collaborate so that together, we can develop solutions that deliver enjoyable and sustainable living.

Come join us as you are. We believe diverse perspectives make us stronger and more innovative. In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.

Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home.

All about the role: We're on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer who's passionate, self-driven and thrives in fast-paced environments where impact matters.

At Electrolux, we are at the forefront of Digital Transformation, designing smart, centralized solutions that power seamless communication across systems, connect with third-party platforms and serve as the backbone for Master Data across the organization.

Our mission? To deliver high-performance, scalable software that drives real business value, across Europe, North America and APAC.

If you're motivated by complex challenges, love clean architecture and want your work to be seen and used globally - we would love to meet you.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable APIs, microservices and data access services for business-critical domains such as master data.

• Build high-performance integrations with third-party systems and enterprise platforms, ensuring data is available, consistent and secure to consume.

• Design cloud-native, event-driven solutions using modern integration patterns, including REST, GraphQL, asynchronous messaging and event streaming.

• Work closely with architects, platform engineers, product teams and other engineering teams to define robust technical solutions aligned with business needs.

• Model, structure and optimize data for high-volume transactional and read-heavy workloads.

• Contribute to architecture decisions around scalability, resilience, caching, observability, security and system performance.

• Identify technical debt and proactively recommend improvements to architecture, code quality and operational stability.

• Support release management, CI/CD practices, monitoring, incident analysis and continuous improvement of production systems.

• Ensure that systems are built according to engineering best practices, including testing, automation, security, maintainability and documentation**.

Who are you

• 8+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, preferably with experience from data-intensive or high-volume transactional systems.

• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, microservices and cloud-native backend services.

• Strong programming experience in one or more modern backend languages such as Typescript or Java.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, API-first development, domain-driven design, SOLID principles and clean architecture.

• Hands-on experience with NoSQL/document databases, preferably MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing and performance tuning.

• Experience building event-driven architectures using technologies such as Azure Event Hubs, Event Grid, Service Bus, Kafka or similar messaging platforms.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure and modern deployment models using containers and Kubernetes, ideally AKS.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.

• Good understanding of logging, monitoring, observability and production support using tools such as Application Insights or equivalent.

• Experience working in agile teams with strong engineering practices, including automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration and iterative delivery.

• Fluent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams, and domains.

You are a pragmatic and experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems with clean, maintainable solutions. You care about performance, reliability and long-term quality, but you also understand the importance of delivering business value iteratively.

You are comfortable working in a distributed environment, collaborating with architects, engineers, product owners and stakeholders to shape solutions that can scale globally. You take ownership, challenge assumptions constructively and help raise the engineering standard of the team.

If you want to build the data layer that enables fast, reliable and scalable digital experiences across markets and platforms, we would love to hear from you.

Desirable experience

• MongoDB cluster administration or advanced MongoDB performance optimization.

• AKS cluster administration or platform engineering practices.

• SAP-based systems, enterprise integrations, or data migration.

• Master data, product data, pricing, customer data, or commerce-related domains.

• Caching strategies, CQRS, read models, or other patterns for high-performance data access.

• Azure certifications or hands-on experience with Azure platform management.

This is a full-time position, based in Bangalore, India.

Why work for Electrolux?

• Build at scale: Lead the development of mission-critical digital commerce experiences used by thousands of customers daily.

• Own the architecture: Influence core technical decisions and help evolve our platform for high scalability, resiliency, and flexibility.

• Modern tech stack: Work with cutting-edge tools in cloud, commerce, and full-stack engineering.

• Empowered leadership: Drive strategy and execution while mentoring a world-class engineering team.

• Growth and impact: Join a high-growth company with a culture that values engineering excellence, innovation, and transparent leadership.

As part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development. There are no barriers to where your career could take you!
