The opportunity

BNY has served institutional investors for more than two centuries, and Asia Pacific is one of our fastest-growing regions. We are investing in senior client service leadership to match that growth.

This role leads client service across Asia excluding Japan and Korea and heads our Asset Owner client-service proposition regionally. It is a role for a leader who builds genuine partnership with senior clients — shaping their agenda with them, drawing on insight across markets, and bringing the full capability of the firm to their outcomes. You will lead the market, and strategic account leaders who deliver that service every day. The position is based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

What you'll own

Client-service leadership across your markets Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and the region's emerging markets. You will design how our most significant clients are covered — matching senior capability to client value, complexity and growth potential — with the depth and continuity that institutional relationships deserve. You will lead the senior dialogue on the moments that matter most to clients.

The Asset Owner segment across APAC Asset Owners looks for a partner in governance, market insight and long-term thinking. Many are government-affiliated, run multi-custodian models and blend internal and external management. You will build BNY's regional view of this segment, set the service standards behind it, uphold the rigor these clients expect around accounting and reporting, and channel what you learn into our product and platform agenda. You will coordinate seamlessly across the client and its appointed managers.

A team, and the next generation of leaders You will lead and develop the market and strategic account leads in your scope, growing them into trusted client partners and strategic service leaders, and building the succession bench for BNY's future client-service leadership in Asia.

Foresight for clients Reading signals across the relationship, distinguishing the specific from the systemic, and working with Operations, Product and Technology so insight turns into lasting improvement.

Commercial insight, in partnership Understanding how service excellence drives retention, mandate growth and advocacy, and connecting client priorities to BNY's capabilities alongside Coverage and Product. This is a client-service leadership role with commercial judgment — partnering with, rather than duplicating, our sales teams.

A credible APAC voice globally Representing regional client priorities in global forums, sponsoring strategic accounts, and shaping how our follow-the-sun model delivers for clients in Asian time zones.
