Técnico/a Especialista Territorial de Distribución (Salamanca).

The Gas Networks Spain business is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gas and operates nationwide (Spain). As a distribution company, it is responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of more than 53,800 km of gas network to which more than 5.4 million supply points are connected in almost 1,150 municipalities. The main activities carried out are: commissioning, meter reading, periodic inspection and attention to notices. Our purpose is to be an active agent of decarbonization and a key player in the country's energy transition.

The challenges of your day-to-day will be aimed at:

• Supervising the assigned operations, including those that require assuming responsibility for facultative direction and those operations of greater complexity, in the execution of the most relevant milestones, managing the changes or incidents that are required in their development, in accordance with internal regulations and current legislation, in order to ensure compliance with its budget, planned deadline and safety, risk prevention, quality control and environmental protocols. Manage the necessary requirements for the execution of the assigned operations, ensuring the updating of the corresponding information in the Company's systems.

• Manage, when the dimension of the activity so requires, the programming of the works that have been assigned to it, completing the milestones associated with its economic monitoring and requiring the collaboration of other supervision resources when the complexity or duration of the work recommends it. Carry out, when necessary, the necessary steps so that the operations under its responsibility comply with the requirements of Facultative Direction contemplated at all times by the applicable current regulations.

• Resolve assigned claims and collaborate, at the request of other business units, in the resolution of other third-party claims: requirements from the General Directorate of Industry (DGI), infringements of municipal ordinances and, in general, appeals and allegations before any administration arising from the execution of operations or referring to facilities owned by the business. Prepare reports of damages to third parties or from third parties when requested, collaborating in their management with the competent authorities and administrations.

• At the request of other business units, capture information in the field, prepare specific reports on the elements of the distribution network and its environment. Act locally in processes triggered by delocalized business units.

• In the development of the function for the gas field: supervise, when required, the maintenance plan operations according to applicable legal and internal regulations, generating results reports in the systems and correcting those defects that are defined, as well as urgent attention notices both in the distribution network and auxiliary facilities and in receiving facilities.

• Develop, periodically, recycling activities with the aim of maintaining the necessary knowledge and capacities to be able to execute all field operations, within its scope of management and professional capacity.

What you need:

Mandatory requirements:

• Engineering Degree

• 5 years of mandatory experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of distribution networks.

• 1 year of proven experience as facultative director in construction projects.

• Knowledge of gas installations.

• Driving license required.

Valuable requirements:

• Knowledge in ATEX, confined spaces and emergency management.
