Role Purpose:

To Support the execution and continuous improvement of the internal control and fraud prevention framework by testing controls, monitoring exceptions, identifying potential fraud indicators, supporting investigations and driving timely remediation of control weaknesses.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute risk-based internal control reviews across financial, operational, commercial and technology-enabled processes.

• Perform process walkthroughs and assess control design and operating effectiveness, supported by complete and review-ready evidence.

• Use data analysis and exception monitoring to identify control gaps, unusual transactions, revenue leakage, policy breaches and potential fraud indicators.

• Support fraud assessments and investigations by documenting facts, analysing evidence, preserving confidentiality and escalating matters through approved channels.

• Draft clear findings covering condition, risk, root cause, impact, agreed action, owner and due date; monitor actions to closure and validate remediation.

• Maintain control matrices, working papers, issue trackers, fraud alerts or case records, and management dashboards in line with governance requirements.

• Partner with Finance, SCM/Procurement, Technology, Operations, Commercial, HR, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit to strengthen preventive and detective controls.

• Promote control awareness, ethical conduct and lessons learned while respecting due process and non-retaliation principles.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics,

• Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in internal controls, auditing, fraud risk management, compliance, investigations, or data analytics.

• Prior exposure to the telecommunications industry or other high-volume transactional environments is considered an asset.

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CFE, ACCA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent qualifications, or active progress toward obtaining them, will be an added advantage.
