Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
We are building solutions and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered development tools like Jetski, Gemini CLI, and others to iterate quickly and make a big impact.
In this role, you will be building new capabilities and collaborating closely with local and global cross-functional teams (including Product Manager (PM), User Experience (UX), and other engineering teams in Singapore and the United States (US). You will have end-to-end responsibility for key areas, from design to deployment, directly impacting how millions of users digitize and use their everyday essentials.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software with a primary focus on the iOS platform, writing high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code in Swift and SwiftUI.
Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and implement user-facing features.
Contribute across the full stack, including designing and integrating with server-side Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
Engage in a fast-paced environment, contributing to all phases of the software development life-cycle while advocating product excellence and ensuring features are comprehensive, considering accessibility and internationalization.
Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance and accelerate development workflows.
