Responsibilities

Functional Description:

The PepsiCo Global Foodservice organization brings the company’s entire portfolio of food and beverage brands to out-of-home consumption channels to meet consumer needs at work, at play, and on-the-go. If so, various opportunities in Foodservice are available in National-CCO Sales, Field Sales, and Distributor Sales. What you can expect:

Distributor Sales (Frito Lay North America): You will work with the Foodservice Distributor Sales team to drive business results and develop a customer-first mentality. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills. Hires will help identify customer needs by understanding business priorities, business model, customers, and competitor performance in accounts. Additionally, you will actively engage in influential sales to ensure that customer needs are met.

What we’re looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics (other related majors will be considered)

• Involvement in at least one extracurricular activity

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to work flexible work schedules

• Ability to adapt to changes in timelines and sequences

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness to travel

• Flexibility for relocation will allow for greater advancement opportunities

In this role, you will be called upon to:

• Use fact-based selling skills and deliver exceptional customer service

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills to coach, develop, and influence various stakeholders

• Use your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to grow volume & revenue to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the assigned area

• Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously

What we’re looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in: Professional Selling, Sales Management/Leadership, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, Organizational Leadership, Entrepreneurship (or other related majors)

• Previous selling or customer service experience (on- or off- campus; either through part time jobs, internship, or academic clubs)

• Proven leadership throughout your academic career (on- or off- campus)

• Flexibility for relocation - we place campus interns in roles nationwide across both field and headquarter locations

• Availability to work flexible schedules

• Spanish language skills a plus

Minimum Qualifications

• Be completing their final year of undergraduate studies

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree prior to the intended full time start date. The position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

• Have a valid, unrestricted United States (State Issued) driver’s license at least three months prior to start date, and access to an automobile to drive to various sales locations for duration of time in role.

• Have physical ability to lift 25 - 45 pounds repeatedly when needed in daily execution

Minimum Qualifications - Each candidate is expected to:

• This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

• Graduate with Bachelor’s degree within one (1) year of internship completion

• Pass a drug screen and background investigation

The expected compensation range for this role based on a full-time schedule is $68,200 - $75,400. Role, degree discipline, degree level, and location are part of the process when determining actual starting salary for positions.

Compensation for our campus hires is pre-determined and non-negotiable.

Paid time off in accordance with policy is subject to eligibility and includes vacation, holiday, sick, bereavement and parental leave

• Vacation: for eligible full-time employees, a minimum of 15 paid vacation days

• Holidays: for eligible full-time employees, the company provides 10 paid holidays annually

• Sick Leave: for eligible full- time employees, 10 days (80 hours) of paid sick leave benefits are available for absences related to non-job-related injury. Sick leave benefit will be accrued during your first year at 1 day for each month worked in that calendar year

• Bereavement Leave: In the event of a death of an immediate family member, full-time and part-time regular employees are eligible to receive up to three (3) consecutive working days with pay

• Parental Leave: for eligible employees, the company offers paid parental leave for up to 6 weeks to allow for a time of bonding with their newborn or newly adopted child
