You will order components for prototypes of pre-production vehicles in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
Monitoring the on-time delivery in the development warehouse and handling of queries represents a main focus of your activities
You will act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
You will build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
You will offer support in the identification of interim solutions in cooperation with the development department in the event of the supplier's lack of delivery capacity
You will have to do weekly reports directly to the customer
You will collaborate with international project teams
You will ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics/business/commercial or equivalent degree are preferred
You have work experience in Supply-Chain, buyer, procurement or logistics oriented environment
You have previous working experience in a purchasing team preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment would be beneficial
You speak German and English fluently
You have good communication, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities
You are able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with team, stakeholders, and suppliers
You are able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
You are understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture, and customer order fulfillment
You are able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
You have good knowledge in SAP or other integrated ERP System would be beneficial
You have advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (with a focus on Excel)
You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
