Senior Broking Executive - Specialties

Responsibilities:

The primary scope of this role is to support the Line Manger (LM) and other team members (when assigned/required) in dealing with Risk Carriers to have the best sales pitch and providing Aon best-practice services through implementing underwriting/ marketing activities, arranging policies to achieve the targeted business objectives.

Responsible to provide support to LM in all aspects of operational activities, including but not limited to data management/ analysis, income forecasting/ booking.

Produce high-quality reports and insights when required by LM to advise our internal stakeholders to make data-driven decisions which are typically guided by operational practices, management precedents and professional standards.

Execute strategies per the Company’s operational policy(ies)/ protocol(s) applicable from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for operational processes and/or insurance program management of the team aligning with in-country operation plan.

• Process and monitor income into the Company's applicable system.

• Deliver Operation value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of organization.

• Assist in account booking to provide analytics and reporting support for yout LM.

• Handling underwriting and consulting works which is based on experience of dealing with quotations for prospect businesses, analyzing offers from insurers and proposing primary recommendations.

• Updating marketing technical format and presentations.

• Handling the following up of won account and arrange the placement of policies for the Clients.

• Sending Policy Handbook, Insurance Cards, Leaflets, Direct-billing list, Debit Note and Invoice to Clients/ Insurers and make sure everything is correct before sending out.

• Studying and producing statistical reports upon requests.

• Uploading policy to system and assisting in sales operational works.

• Accountable for executing the agreed/ assigned in-country growth plan/ budget for allocated Client portfolio and contributing to the annual planning cycle.

• Coordinating, aligning, focusing best resources to Pipeline and sharing ownership with your LM.

• Other responsibilities as may be assigned by your LM from time to time.

Operational Excellence

• Able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to Specialties’ business operations.

• Typically possess demonstrable business experience (or equivalent), as well as in-depth knowledge of Operation.

• Uses knowledge and business acumen to provide consultative advice and recommendations within Operation area.

• Operates independently and with initiative according to established standards and principles.

• Ensure the non-negotiable items including AABG, TRS, CV Reduction, Service Contracts to be executed and meet the KPIs.

• Follow-up and organize signing of contractual documents at conclusion of placement, leading to the production of the cover note.

• Prepare and send Policy Document, Debit Note and Invoice to Clients/ Insurers.

• Handle the maintenance of placement correspondences/ documents via e-filing.

• Precisely and timely input of Leads/ Opportunities and ensure an up-to-date Pipeline in the Company’s internal saleforce platform.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.

• University graduates (Insurance/ Banking & Finance/ Engineering is preferred)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry

• Possessing technical skills and strong interpersonal skills (effective communication across organizational levels, self-awareness and emotional intelligence)

• Fluency in written and verbal communication in both Vietnamese and English

• Demonstration of self-discipline

• Highly motivated to achieve goals, possesses strong business knowledge
