Position Title: Asset Coordinator
Position Reports To: Asset Specialist
The Asset Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the inventory, maintenance, and tracking of tools, materials, equipment and fleet vehicles used in soft craft operations, including scaffolding, insulation, fireproofing, painting, and other related services. This position ensures that all yard assets are efficiently organized, accounted for, and readily available to support field operations and project schedules.
Employ software programs, including but not limited to Quantify, to maintain an accurate inventory of company owned assets. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing assets, including tools, consumables, equipment and fleet vehicles. Coordinate with project teams to fulfill asset requisitions and ensure timely delivery of required equipment. Conduct regular inventory checks, inspections, and audits to track asset usage and condition. Organize the facility/yard to optimize space and improve retrieval efficiency. Oversee the repair, recertification, or replacement of damaged or worn-out tools and equipment. Maintain digital and/or physical logs for asset tracking systems (e.g., InOne, Tenna). Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures during material handling and storage. Support site mobilization and demobilization activities with proper allocation and return of resources. Assist with training yard personnel on inventory control procedures and equipment handling.
2+ years of industrial services experience preferred.
Experience tracking company owned assets.
Experience interacting with internal and external customers to understand needs and deliver timely solutions.
Promotes safety throughout every aspect of the role.
Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work effectively on cross-functional team initiatives.
Ability to multi-task, managing multiple, overlapping, competing priorities.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
Diligent attention to detail.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions.
Primarily based in an outdoor/yard environment with some indoor office work.
Exposure to weather, heavy equipment, and construction-related materials.
PPE required when in operational areas.
Work that includes moving objects over twenty pounds.
