Position Summary: The Product Engineer (Mfg) 5 position provides executive leadership for product engineering across multiple business divisions or product lines within our global semiconductor company. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field; Master's degree or PhD preferred
12+ years of progressive experience in semiconductor product engineering leadership roles
5+ years of executive management experience leading engineering organizations
Extensive experience with enterprise product strategies, yield management, and quality excellence
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment required
International experience leading product engineering across multiple regions preferred
Qualifications:
Exceptional strategic vision and leadership capabilities
Expert knowledge of semiconductor product engineering principles, yield methodologies, and quality systems
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite leaders and senior executives
Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor device physics, technology platforms, and manufacturing challenges
Superior communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Extensive experience with yield management systems, advanced analytics, and performance optimization
Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and reliability engineering
Strong change management capabilities with proven track record of successful implementation
Advanced technical acumen with ability to connect product strategies to manufacturing performance and business outcomes
Travel Requirements:
Significant travel required (25-40% of time)
Includes international travel to manufacturing operations, design centers, and customer sites
Level of Authority:
Directs product engineering organization across multiple business divisions or product lines
Makes decisions with significant impact on enterprise product strategies, yield programs, and resource allocation
Approves major product engineering methodologies, performance standards, and transformational initiatives
Establishes enterprise-wide product engineering policies, governance frameworks, and quality requirements
Influences executive decisions on matters affecting product strategy and manufacturing capabilities
