We are seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Technology Data Protection Consultant to help implement and advance our enterprise data protection program. In this highly influential role, you will provide technical leadership across Data Loss Prevention, data governance, cloud security, and Zero Trust architecture. You will have the opportunity to design and modernize security solutions across a large, complex environment while helping the organization address evolving regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements.
As a trusted subject matter expert, you will collaborate with partners across Technology, Security, Compliance, and the business to strengthen how sensitive information is identified, protected, monitored, and governed. What You Will Do
Advance Data Protection and DLP Capabilities
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise DLP solutions across email, endpoints, networks, cloud environments, and web channels.
Develop and optimize DLP policies, rule sets, and detection logic to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.
Lead enterprise data classification and labeling initiatives using Microsoft Information Protection or comparable technologies.
Conduct data discovery activities to identify potentially exposed sensitive information and coordinate remediation with business and Technology stakeholders.
Strengthen Cloud Security and Zero Trust
Design and maintain cloud security controls using CASB, Zero Trust, and cloud application governance platforms.
Implement and support Conditional Access, Intune, and Zero Trust policies that protect data across distributed environments.
Strengthen data protection controls across cloud collaboration platforms, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and SaaS applications.
Shape AI and Emerging Technology Governance
Develop and maintain data governance controls for AI platforms.
Implement practical guardrails for generative AI tools that align with organizational data security requirements.
Help the organization responsibly adopt emerging technologies while protecting sensitive information and managing risk.
Collaborate Across Security and Technology
Partner with Insider Risk, Security Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to enhance monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
Use SIEM platforms to analyze DLP events, improve policies, and support incident investigations.
Lead security projects, audits, and remediation efforts using established project management practices.
Share technical expertise and provide guidance and mentorship to security engineers and cross-functional partners.
What We're Looking For
A bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 10 years of experience in data protection, DLP engineering, security architecture, or a related area.
Experience modernizing enterprise DLP programs within large, complex organizations.
Advanced proficiency with multiple DLP platforms, such as:
Experience with cloud security platforms and capabilities, including Zscaler ZIA, CASB, Conditional Access, and cloud governance controls.
Hands-on experience with SIEM and endpoint security tools, such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, or Tanium.
Proficiency with scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell, Python, or Regex.
A strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and modern cloud security frameworks.
Experience supporting regulated industries, such as financial services, healthcare, or SaaS.
CISSP certification or an equivalent professional certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing AI‑related data‑governance controls (DSPM for AI, Copilot security, etc.).
Experience with large‑scale DLP deployments.
Familiarity with data‑at‑rest encryption, sensitive‑data discovery tools, and remediation workflows.
Broad background in enterprise infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, networking, DNS, identity, and endpoint management.
