As a Private Client Business Practices Program/Project Manager within the JPMorgan Private Client Business Practices Team, you will be an emerging leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a willingness to “roll up their sleeves” in a wide variety of activities.
Work closely with JPMorgan Private leadership and partners to organize, manage and oversee a variety of activities aligned with our Private Client business model. You will work closely with peer groups across the Consumer and Community Bank and Asset & Wealth Management Lines of Businesses and other cross functional teams to plan, coordinate and deliver initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Business Objective: Establish/enhance requirements for metrics (KRI/KPI) used to determine Control health of the business
Project Management: Manage smaller projects supporting the JPMorgan Private Client agenda and the implementation of processes and controls.
Analysis: Generate operational insights by analyzing process data and identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Relationship Building: Establish strong working relationships with workstream leads, business stakeholders, peers, and subject matter experts.
Thought Leadership: Act as a Thought Leader to drive problem-solving and identify business solutions.
Communication: Operate as the voice of the project, producing or contributing to various reporting needs, and facilitating meetings at the business, operational, and project levels.
Data Analysis: Review data and metrics related to the business with a focus on risk mitigation and program success.
Communication/presentation: Influence business leaders and stakeholders in a meaningful and actionable manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Education: BA/BS degree required
Experience: 5 + years of project management and process design experience within the Consumer/Business Deposit, Home Lending, or Wealth businesses
Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with a structured/analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to help drive decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with senior management and create executive-level presentations; strong proficiency in MS Suite of products is a must.
Insights: Proven ability to deliver actionable insights that drive operational improvements.
Teamwork: Team player with the ability to build strong cross-business relationships
Adaptability: Ability to work autonomously to drive change, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities; effectively manages competing priorities to achieve optimal results in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Influence: Ability to effectively influence without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Expertise: Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts and experience working within Control framework and platforms (CORE, ELA, Obligation mapping)
Expertise: Proficient knowledge and utilization of Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and generally understanding of data structures to aid in the creation of business rules
