Build an accessibility testing function that makes a measurable difference for millions of customers. You’ll set strategy, scale standards and reporting, and partner across teams to embed accessibility into delivery.
As an Vice President, Accessibility Testing Organization Lead in Card Shopping, you will define and lead the accessibility testing strategy and operating model for customer-facing card shopping experiences. You will manage and develop a team of accessibility testing professionals, partner across Product, Technology, Design, Legal, Compliance, and Operations, and ensure accessibility quality is built into the product lifecycle from discovery through release.
Lead the accessibility testing organization by setting the vision, operating model, standards, and roadmap for inclusive digital quality
Manage, coach, and develop a team of accessibility testing professionals, including clear roles, goals, and performance expectations
Define and implement accessibility test strategies, test plans, test cases, and defect management and quality assurance standards
Partner with Product, Technology, Design, and accessibility partners to align on requirements, testing scope, remediation, and measurement
Establish governance routines for intake, prioritization, reporting, escalation, and risk management to support timely delivery
Oversee defect triage, root-cause analysis, remediation tracking, and clear communication of risks, progress, and outcomes
Evaluate and recommend testing tools, automation opportunities, assistive technology practices, and process improvements
Stay current on accessibility standards, regulatory expectations, and industry trends to continuously strengthen capability
7 years of experience in digital accessibility, accessibility testing, quality assurance, product testing, technology delivery, or a related field
Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and regulations, including WCAG, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 508
People management experience leading, coaching, and developing teams in testing, quality assurance, accessibility, product, or technology
Experience building or maturing programs, operating models, governance routines, standards, and delivery processes
Ability to review designs and digital experiences to identify accessibility issues and translate findings into clear remediation guidance
Experience testing with assistive technologies (for example, NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, magnifiers, and alternative input methods)
Technical familiarity with HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility defect management practices
Experience using Jira to track accessibility defects and coordinate testing work
Experience documenting standards and best practices in a shared knowledge base (for example, Confluence)
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2, VPAT/ACR documentation, and accessibility expectations in regulated environments
Experience leading accessibility testing for large-scale customer-facing web or mobile experiences
Experience implementing accessibility testing automation, quality dashboards, and executive-ready reporting
Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (for example, React) and accessibility testing approaches for documents (for example, PDF accessibility)
