Make an impact where precision and partnership drive outcomes. In this role, you will help ensure income events are processed accurately and on time across multiple markets. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and service providers to resolve breaks and reduce risk. You will also help improve processes through re-engineering and automation support.
As an Asset Analyst in the Asset Servicing team, you will process and oversee income events and related claims and reconciliations to support accurate cash and position outcomes. You will partner with stakeholders and external parties to investigate breaks, drive timely resolution, and improve operational controls. You will contribute to process improvement and documentation to strengthen resilience and service quality.
Process pay-date income events (including dividends, coupons, and redemptions) and complete required pre-event reconciliations to support accurate profit and loss (P&L) outcomes
Manage payable and receivable claims by coordinating timely responses and closure with internal and external counterparties
Reconcile and resolve cash, position, wash, suspense, and control account breaks, reducing items aged more than 30 days toward zero
Investigate exceptions and potential system or data feed issues, driving follow-through to resolution and documenting root causes where applicable
Serve as a point of contact for escalations from stakeholders and clients, ensuring appropriate coverage and timely updates
Provide subject matter expertise for the processes owned, including procedural guidance and issue triage
Identify process gaps and support remediation activities to strengthen controls and reduce operational risk
Support process re-engineering and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and quality
Maintain up-to-date procedures and support cross-training to build role coverage and operational resilience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in asset servicing, income processing, corporate actions, or a related markets operations function
Demonstrated experience processing time-sensitive operational events with high accuracy and control discipline
Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex breaks and discrepancies using structured root-cause approaches
Experience partnering effectively with multiple internal teams and external counterparties (clients, custodians, agents, depositories, and third-party service providers)
Working knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools (for example: Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik) and/or query or analytics tools (for example: SQL, SAS, Python)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including escalation and stakeholder updates
Strong organization skills with the ability to manage concurrent priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset
Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and working styles
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
Experience supporting process improvement, transformation, or automation initiatives
Familiarity with technology delivery methodologies (for example: Agile, Waterfall) and basic process design techniques
Business analytics and/or project management certification
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Series 99 license is a plus where applicable
