As an Assistant Procurement Manager – Generic Equipment at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to manage commercial and sourcing activities for the Generic Equipment spend in scope at a global level, leveraging strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies to drive value, efficiency and sustainable business results. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. How you’ll make an impact as an Assistant Procurement Manager – Generic Equipment
Support the implementation of global category strategies and manage category spend across Asia, Oceania and Europe.
Lead sourcing projects and deliver cost savings through Strategic Sourcing methodologies, including RFIs/RFPs, e-auctions, standardization, spend aggregation and best-cost-country sourcing.
Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate sourcing activities and maximize value creation.
Foster a competitive supplier environment and support contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial agreements.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective deployment of category strategies across markets.
Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, procurement policies and standards.
What will make you successful
Degree in Engineering, Science, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of sourcing experience, ideally within technical categories; experience with laboratory supplies, services or equipment is a plus.
Strong ability to work effectively in a complex, cross-functional and global environment.
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a global network.
Proven knowledge of strategic sourcing tools, category management and risk management.
Fluency in English, any other language considered as asset.
