What This Role Is About
Lead and implement robustification measures and guidelines throughout the factory, ensuring compliance across all departments.
Conduct regular audits and health checks while maintaining thorough audit documentation.
Lead the maintenance of engineering and automation systems, including but not limited to SCADA, PLCs, DCS, BMS, and other Industrial Automation Control Systems (IACS).
Support the automation team in optimizing automation systems.
Provide training and support to junior engineers and team members by sharing best practices.
What Will You Do?
Automation Systems Optimization
Support the automation team in optimizing currently installed production machinery and automation systems, including Siemens, Beckhoff, KNX, CAN bus controllers, Profibus, and ProfiNet.
Perform software modifications and debugging, MES system enhancements, and preventive and corrective actions related to the current assignment.
Robustification, Audits, and Compliance
Lead and implement robustification measures and guidelines throughout the factory, ensuring compliance across all departments.
Conduct regular audits and health checks while maintaining thorough audit documentation.
Engineering and Automation Systems Maintenance
Training and Cross-Functional Support
Provide training and support to junior engineers and team members by sharing best practices.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure open dialogue and strong support, as needed.
Manufacturing Process Optimization
Collaborate with Global Engineering, Primary and M&P, and IT teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
Ensure alignment with global counterparts and stay informed about the latest standards and policies.
Other Responsibilities and Compliance
Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Comply with EHS procedures, labor laws, corporate guidance, internal regulations, and work performance instructions.
Who We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, particularly Automatic Control and Robotics, or any related Automation or IT course.
At least five years of experience in a similar position, with a background in project management.
Experience in the tobacco industry is an advantage.
Excellent command of spoken and written English, with clear and assertive communication skills.
