About the Role: As Contract Manager, you will oversee all aspects of operational and commercial contract delivery, ensuring performance is maintained in line with contractual obligations and company standards.
Management of operational and commercial contract delivery
Monitoring contract performance against agreed targets and commitments
Managing works programmes, budgets, cash flow and project updates
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, company procedures and quality standards
Managing direct labour resources and supply chain partners
Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and achieve efficiency savings
Completing company and client reporting within required timescales
Promoting a positive, customer-focused culture across all activities
Driving customer satisfaction and achievement of contractual KPIs
Managing employee performance, coaching and development
Ensuring company assets are protected and maintained appropriately
Providing accurate management reporting
Building strong relationships with clients, service users and local communities
Supporting continuous improvement through feedback and market insight
Key Criteria:
Proven track record in capital works, programmed works, repairs and maintenance management and delivery
Proven commercial and performance management experience
Ability to manage multiple sites and contracts
Experience working within a customer-focused environment
Contract and project management experience
Strong governance, risk management and business control experience
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
ILM accreditation or Level 4 Leadership and Management qualification
IOSH or other health and safety qualification
Experience working within social housing
Experience working in partnership with local authority clients
