Engineer II, Embedded Software Design

What will you do?

• Develop embedded software that operates efficiently within hardware systems and meets real-time performance requirements

• Analyze and model system requirements to create scalable, maintainable software architectures

• Debug and optimize embedded code to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards

• Partner with hardware engineers and product teams to deliver integrated solutions that exceed expectations

What are the key skills we are looking for?

• Problem Solving — intermediate level; diagnosing complex embedded system issues and implementing effective solutions

• Requirements Analysis — intermediate level; translating system specifications into actionable software designs

• Requirements Modeling — intermediate level; structuring technical requirements to guide development workflows

• Version Control — intermediate level; managing code repositories and maintaining version integrity across teams

• Embedded Software Engineering — developing level; writing code that operates within hardware constraints and real-time environments

• Communication Protocols — developing level; implementing protocols that enable device-to-device communication

• Continuous Integration — developing level; automating build and test processes to accelerate delivery cycles

• Cybersecurity — developing level; applying security best practices to protect embedded systems from vulnerabilities
