The Opportunity
This position works out of our Santa Clara, CA location or Plymouth, MN location in the Structural Heart Division.
Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of Structural Heart disease. We aim to lead the markets we serve by requiring that the solutions we offer customers provide an improved benefit/risk profile as compared to existing standards of care; a performance threshold that guides and ensures the productive output of our engineering, business development, and clinical research efforts result in outcomes that advance the standard of care.
The Senior Global Marketing Manager, TMTI Downstream will play a key leadership role within the Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Interventions (TMTI) Global Strategic Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for translating global business and therapy strategy into actionable downstream marketing strategies, including product launches, competitive strategy, digital and omnichannel customer engagement, and regional commercial enablement.
What You’ll Work On
Develop and execute global downstream marketing strategies aligned with TMTI business priorities and growth objectives
Translate global strategy into clear, actionable programs and tools that enable effective execution across regions
Collaborate with our regional partners to incorporate local insights into global strategies
Develop messaging and marketing campaigns and global competitive strategy in collaboration with creative agencies to drive our strategic commercial goals
Lead the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives and omnichannel strategy
Lead global downstream marketing strategy and commercial readiness for product launches in the repair & replacement space in the main geographies worldwide, working closely with regional marketing, R&D, Operations and sales teams
Be an expert in MitraClip, TriClip & Tendyne procedures and clinical data and work closely with Clinical and Med Affair teams to drive our podium and publication strategy
Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs to drive our competitive strategies
Contribute to annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT situation assessment.
Engage with KOLs and assess customers' needs to drive strategic marketing initiatives and enhance product development
Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.
Partner with Market Development to ensure downstream strategies support broader therapy-development priorities and patient-funnel growth
Required Qualifications
Bachelors' Degree with 6+ years related marketing or product management experience. MBA with 2+ years of related experience also considered.
Prior marketing experience within medical device or healthcare industry.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing downstream marketing or commercial strategies
Knowledge/ability to develop and execute a new product launch.
Strong analytical skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
Experience in working in a matrix environment with global and cross-functional partners.
Able to understand technical and scientific information.
Able to influence and motivate individuals from sales, marketing, R&D and other functional areas to drive franchise forward
Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines on time and on budget.
Ability to travel 30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred
Experience in Medical Device, Pharma or Biotech required; experience in Structural Heart industry is desirable

The base pay for this position is
$130,700.00 – $261,300.00
