Coordination (approx. 60%)
Technical leadership of the team and ensuring smooth daily operations
Management of shunting maneuvers, train handling, and technical train inspections (including journeys according to FDV)
Central contact person for control center, transport disposition, network management, and locomotive personnel
Monitoring of processes and equipment with quick, solution-oriented intervention in case of disruptions
Active participation in new hub and shunting concepts and continuous process optimization
Operational daily business (approx. 40%)
Handling of swap bodies with vehicles between trucks and railway wagons (horizontal handling)
Loading and unloading, preparing, and lifting/lowering swap bodies
Timely collections and deliveries according to customer specifications
Active assistance with general handling work on the premises
CH driver's license category C or C/E and mandatory willingness to undergo further training as shunter A40 and wagon inspector
Flexibility for shift work (Monday to Saturday including public holidays) and good physical condition
Mandatory very good German language skills, both written and spoken
Pronounced organizational talent, networked thinking, and high reliability and customer orientation
Proficient handling of modern communication tools and openness as well as willingness to learn digital systems
