A well-maintained resort doesn't happen by chance. As an Engineering Technician I, you will support daily resort operations by performing preventive maintenance, responding to guest service requests, and completing basic repairs that help keep the property safe, functional, and guest-ready.

What You'll Do as an Engineering Technician I:
Complete preventive maintenance, work orders, guest calls, and engineering projects as assigned.
Perform basic repairs including painting, caulking, drywall, and wall repairs.
Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing repairs, including sinks, faucets, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and drain clogs.
Perform basic electrical tasks such as resetting breakers and GFCIs, replacing light bulbs, and testing voltage.
Install, replace, and troubleshoot TVs, remote controls, appliances, and other in-room equipment.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other maintenance equipment.
Utilize HotSOS and other maintenance systems to complete work orders and document repairs.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment while identifying and reporting potential hazards.
Communicate professionally with guests and team members to resolve maintenance concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations.
What You Will Bring as an Engineering Technician I:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
0–1 year of maintenance, facilities, or trades experience in a resort, hotel, commercial, or similar environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general maintenance.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license required.
Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and safely use ladders and maintenance equipment.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
