Position Summary The Warehouse Team Lead supports the Warehouse Supervisor in the execution of daily warehouse operations and serves as the first point of contact for associates on the warehouse floor. This role provides hands-on leadership by coordinating workflow, coaching associates, promoting safety, monitoring productivity, and ensuring operational standards are consistently achieved. The Team Lead leads by example while supporting continuous improvement and developing future leaders.
Key Responsibilities Operations Leadership
Coordinate daily work assignments and labor distribution.
Monitor workflow and ensure productivity, quality, and service goals are met.
Serve as the floor leader during breaks or Supervisor absence.
Communicate operational issues and escalate risks promptly.
Associate Development
Train, onboard, and cross-train associates.
Provide real-time coaching and reinforce standard work.
Support performance discussions and recognize strong performance.
Foster teamwork and associate engagement.
Safety & Quality
Champion safe work practices and OSHA compliance.
Maintain housekeeping using 5S principles.
Promote inventory accuracy and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement
Identify workflow improvements and eliminate waste.
Support Lean projects and operational initiatives.

The salary range posted reflects the estimated minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in: US - IN US8 Midwest Distribution Center
