Yes? Then our team in Sofia and Varna is looking for you!

As a Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and operation of a highly available enterprise platform. You will work in an Agile team, collaborating with technical experts, business stakeholders, and customer representatives.

You will participate throughout the complete development lifecycle, from refining new user stories and implementing solutions to maintaining code quality and supporting the platform in production.

Daily challenges:

• Supporting the design, analysis, and refinement of new user stories

• Actively participating in sprint planning, refinement sessions, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives

• Implementing new features and ensuring high standards of software quality

• Writing clean, modular, readable, maintainable, and testable Java code

• Designing and developing APIs according to established standards and best practices

• Supporting REST-based web services using tools such as Postman

• Working with XML, XSD, and JSON data formats

• Contributing to the operations team to maintain high platform availability

• Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing sustainable solutions

• Participating in customer meetings when required

• Collaborating with developers, architects, operations specialists, and other project stakeholders

• Proactively discussing, suggesting, and implementing technical and process improvements

• Working in an Agile project team with clearly defined goals and deliverables

• Demonstrating ownership and commitment to agreed responsibilities and deadlines

eXperience and skills required:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Strong experience with Java (11+ preferred)

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles

• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Java EE

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Experience with Git and version control systems

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or similar

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

• English level B2 or higher

What would be considered a plus:

• Experience with JSF

• Knowledge of Oracle ADF

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL

• Knowledge of JDBC

• Experience with XML, XSD, JSON, and Postman

• Experience with open-source frameworks and technologies

• Experience supporting production applications and participating in operational activities
