Internship – Market Intelligence & Growth Analysis

Your Mission

As part of the Marketing / Strategy team based in Luxembourg, you will contribute to the analysis of emerging markets and their implications for ArcelorMittal’s electrical steel business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Market analysis

  • Identify and assess high-growth segments (e.g. robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing)
  • Analyze demand drivers for electrical steels in these applications
  • Map key players and value chains (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, integrators)

• Application-driven insight

  • Understand technical requirements of emerging applications (performance, efficiency, compactness)
  • Translate these needs into implications for electrical steel grades and product positioning

• Competitive intelligence

  • Monitor global competitors and innovations in electrical steel
  • Benchmark product offerings and strategic positioning

• Synthesis & strategic recommendations

  • Deliver structured insights and actionable recommendations
  • Contribute to internal presentations for senior stakeholders

Profile

• Master’s student (Bac+5) from a leading Business School or equivalent (strategy, marketing, or industrial economics)

• Strong interest in industrial markets, technology, and energy transition

Required skills:

• Fluent in English (minimum C1 level)

• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities

• Proficiency with research tools and digital resources, including advanced data gathering tools and AI-based research methods

• Ability to structure complex information clearly and concisely

Nice to have:

• Interest in materials science, electrification, or automotive/industrial sectors

• First experience in consulting, market analysis, or industrial environment
