BCG’s Industrial Goods practice serves four broad industrial segments: Automotive & Mobility, Engineered Products & Infrastructure, Materials & Process Industries, and Transportation & Logistics. We help companies in these sectors think beyond the limits of their traditional business models, choose where and how they should add value, and reorganize to defend themselves against new threats and explore new opportunities.
What You'll Do
As a Consultant or Project Leader within BCG's Industrial Goods Practice, you will be a core member of our practice working alongside some of the world's top minds in industry. You will help companies from a variety of Industrial goods branches through decisive changes. On a day to-day basis, this will translate in:

Supporting the growth of our Industrial goods practice through case execution, client development, and intellectual property & product creation

Executing or providing expertise on projects within the industrial goods branches for our key clients in multiple industries in Paris (ie Aviation, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Machinery and Industrial Automation, Agribusiness)

Teaming up with BCG X to put AI to work for our international clients - generative AI cutting design cycles for aircraft and vehicle components, predictive maintenance keeping critical fleets running, and the new wave of agentic AI already reshaping factories across Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Industrial Automation

Working jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client on site

Leading project workstreams and a small team of consultants

Providing intellectual leadership for the project teams by generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks to guide research and analysis

Contributing to the creation of BCG's intellectual capital on different topics within the material and process industries: innovation, publications, toolkits, benchmarks, templates, processes as well as position papers, studies, and insights from case experience
What You'll Bring

Have at least 7 years of experience working in diverse projects in the Industrial Goods area and a track record of team leadership and related achievements

Deep knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following industries : Aerospace & Defense industries (Military services, International Defense organizations...), Automotive, Machinery and Industrial Automation, Agribusiness

Experience in Tech/Digital/AI in industrial goods projects is appreciated

Have experience actively managing multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within the client organization to understand their needs and help influence the client agenda

Have the interpersonal skills to partner with executive management teams as they implement a new vision and passion for enabling leaders to drive change within organizations set you apart

Be a collaborative team player with positive attitude, high ethical standards and experienced in international work

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, in addition to a strong presence and leadership skills
