The Master Data Analyst is responsible for creating, correcting and maintaining supply chain master data required to execute end-to-end supply planning activities. The role ensures that all materials, BOMs, routings, sourcing rules, lead times and planning parameters are correct, complete and available on time in the relevant planning systems to facilitate supply planning processes. Reporting to the Category Supply Planner, this role acts as the data integrity owner and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure timely receipt of inputs required to maintain master data, and resolve issues which risk service, inventory, cost or feasibility.
Creates and maintains accurate, timely supply‑planning master data (incl. materials, BOMs, routings, sourcing, lead times, capacities) to enable feasible category supply plans
Works in close partnership with peers (other Master Data, Category SPs, etc.) across OUs where necessary to ensure correct, complete master data for inter-company products/materials
Performs routine master data audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with planning rules, data templates, and global standards
Troubleshoots data issues, investigates deviations, and collaborates with requesters to resolve inconsistencies or unclear change requests
Provides planning teams with clear data inputs that enable scenario modelling, sourcing decisions, and capacity evaluations
Collaborates with the Planning Digital Innovator to identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or enhance master data processes, ensuring increased accuracy and reduced cycle times
Supports the development and implementation of data governance standards, standard operating procedures, templates, and controls across the planning ecosystem
Trains and mentors planning and Market colleagues on master data best practices to build data literacy across the Forecast to Schedule competency
Track and periodically report performance management on data requests that will enable continuous improvement in data quality
Parameter Optimization: Monitor and maintain optimal planning parameters in planning systems, and identify when parameters need review
Reporting activities: Dashboard adaption and dashboard refresh in the required frequency (Demand Planning Dashboard, Atlas, Weekly Service Report, etc.)
Design and creation of new reports based on L1 and L2 requirements
Extraction of relevant data to conduct ad hoc analysis
