For our Engineering department, we are looking for a methodologies and standardization designer for transmissions at the Cascina Costa di Samarate (VA) site.
Role Function
Develop, maintain and optimize methodologies, procedures and technical tools to support design activities and management of occurrences in the Transmissions area, ensuring standardization, efficiency and consistency of processes.
General Description
The resource represents the methodological reference point for the area, with responsibility for defining, updating and disseminating technical guidelines and operational processes. Operates as a qualified interface between Operations, Technical Directorate and Project Managers, ensuring uniformity in activities, support in managing occurrences and developing tools that improve the quality and repeatability of technical work.
It also contributes to the analysis of service returns and the definition of design improvement proposals, collaborating with design teams and the Production Support (SE) group to ensure consistency between design, manufacturing and maintenance.
Main Responsibilities
Development of methodologies, procedures and technical tools to standardize and optimize the area's activities.
Definition of guidelines for consolidated processes and future developments, clarifying grey areas and ensuring operational consistency.
Technical interface between Operations and Technical Directorate for the management of in-service occurrences, filtering, standardizing and addressing corrective actions.
Analysis of service returns and development of proposals for initial design improvement.
Development of software tools (macros, tools, digital procedures) to increase efficiency, quality and repeatability of technical activities.
Rationalization of raw materials and standardization of technical content, with identification of key aspects and definition of guidelines.
Support to the SE group for load balancing, critical issue management and reduction of Concessions.
Contribution to the reduction of non-conformities through operational activity and reporting of opportunities for improvement in the production flow.
Coordination with Project Managers to ensure methodological consistency in design activities.
Support for internal training on standardized methodologies, tools and processes.
Required Technical Knowledge
Mechanics – basic knowledge.
Helicopter product and transmission systems.
Basics of traditional structural analysis (to understand and standardize area processes).
2D/3D mechanical drawing, tolerances, GD&T.
DOA procedures and military regulations.
Company tools (MS Office, CATIA+Enovia, CAE).
English language (B1/B2).
Technical diploma with at least two years of experience / Bachelor's degree
