Job Purpose:
As the RTR S/4HANA Deployment & Stabilization Steward, you will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation, go-live, and stabilization of the SAP S/4HANA ERP platform within the Germany Record-to-Report (RTR) organization. Acting as a bridge between the RTR operational teams, business stakeholders, and the project delivery organization, you will champion user adoption, support testing and defect resolution activities, facilitate training, and help ensure a smooth transition to new ways of working. This role offers broad exposure to end-to-end RTR processes, finance transformation initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Business Process & Technology, and external implementation partners. You will be a trusted partner to RTR leadership and business stakeholders, contributing to the successful embedding of S/4HANA capabilities while ensuring operational continuity and process stability during the implementation and post-go-live phases.
Key Responsibilities
S/4HANA Learning, Training & Change Support
Build expertise in SAP S/4HANA finance processes through formal training programs, workshops, and self-directed learning.
Act as an RTR champion and change advocate throughout the implementation journey by engaging in knowledge transfer sessions, preparing training materials, and hands-on support for RTR end users.
Support user readiness and adoption activities to ensure a successful transition to the new ERP platform.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Defect Management
Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities within pre-configured S/4HANA environments.
Execute, validate, document, and track predefined business test scenarios.
Collaborate with Business Process Owners, SMEs, and Project Leads to identify, investigate, and resolve system defects.
Monitor testing outcomes and provide timely status updates to project stakeholders.
Maintain awareness of system enhancements and implemented fixes, ensuring impacts are clearly understood and communicated.
Go-Live & Hypercare Support
Provide frontline support during go-live, hypercare, and stabilization phases.
Assist RTR teams in resolving process and system-related issues while embedding new ways of working.
Help ensure a smooth transition from project implementation into business-as-usual operations.
Governance, Compliance & Documentation
Assist RTR leadership in maintaining compliance with company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial accounting process documentation, work instructions, and operating procedures.
Ensure documentation accurately reflects system design, process changes, and control requirements.
Contribute to risk identification, issue escalation, and resolution activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
University degree in Finance and a professional accounting qualification is a strong advantage
Minimum of 3 years accounting experience preferably in a ISS multi-national organization
Strong ERP experience essential, preferably SAP
Fluent in English, German can be an advantage
