As Demand & Supply Planner, your overall objective is to manage the demand and supply chain in order to ensure the products availability while maintaining an optimal stock level. The role requires close cross functional interaction with Customer Service, Sales, Logistics and Finance and Marketing.
Providing 52-week demand to factories
Owner and organizer of the monthly Forecast Meetings with sales and marketing analyzing data and proposing forecast updates
Responsible for finished goods inventories and developing / implementing projects to reduce inventory levels
Overall management of the incoming goods, supply chain, using business enterprise system
Responsible for external co-packer supply
Managing accurately the Rapid Response, ECC, BW systems input data.
Managing effective relationships with increasing numbers of suppliers/distributors
Ensure product availability, no out-of-stocks
Maintain Pack Fill and Order Fill rates at company standards
Update forecast in Rapid Response, 12 months rolling forecast at least, create promo codes, update cross-references
Ensure data in system are correct and updated
Planning and analysing the weekly production schedule
Uploading forecast in Rapid Response on a weekly basis
Managing SKU’s portfolio (NPD’s/EPD’s/ Promotional items)
Follow-up on new product launches from decision to arrival in DC
Fill in Product Change Management file with the SKU changes, logistical data and transition dates estimations
Acquiring logistics data from factory
Maintains parameters in ECC and Rapid Response for new SKUs and EPDs and updates forecast in Rapid Response once code exists in local system
Monitor and coordinate with factories, regional QI, local logistics and regulatory teams the COA release process to make sure the products are released on time
Maintain lowest possible inventory level, without risk in Service to customers
Creates inventory and provision file for RO/BG and engages with sales and marketing for solutions to deplete the stocks (meetings organized by supply planner)
Challenge SNP parameters (MOQ's, coverage, etc.) with factories, in order to achieve lowest inventories possible
On a weekly basis, inform sales and customer service about product availability of all products, remaining promotions and timing of new launches
Weekly OOS/Distress report
Providing trainings to newcomers
Good knowledge of supply chain model, supporting for a good understanding of possible issues/opportunities
Experience in a similar position in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of planning systems
Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership
Ability to effectively manage projects and relationships with local partners, contractors
Fluent Romanian and English
