Senior, Expert
Lead complex transformation programs across cruise, cargo, and shipbuilding clients — from strategy through hands-on implementation
Own project delivery end-to-end: problem structuring, hypothesis-driven analysis, executive-grade output, and measurable client impact
Become a trusted advisor to client executives on fleet performance, operations, procurement, newbuild and drydock programs, and operating-model transformation
Drive business development — shape opportunities, develop proposals, and support pursuits from first conversation to close
Open and deepen relationships across shipowners, operators, shipyards, and ecosystem partners
Develop thought leadership on the trends reshaping maritime: decarbonization, digital operations, AI, shipbuilding productivity, and guest experience
Lead, coach, and develop consulting teams through apprenticeship-based leadership
Partner with our global ADT cluster (Europe, LATAM, APAC) to bring the full firm to North American clients
Represent Porsche Consulting externally at industry forums, executive roundtables, and client events
We are looking for exceptional problem solvers and business builders who combine strategic depth with a genuine passion for how ships, fleets, and yards actually run.
Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or a leading maritime organization (e.g., cruise line, container/bulk/tanker carrier, or shipyard)
Passion for operator and shipbuilding businesses — hands-on curiosity about fleets, ports, yards, and operations, not just deck-level exposure
Deep experience in one or more maritime segments:
Demonstrated track record leading large-scale transformation with measurable results
Strong commercial instinct and appetite to contribute to business development
Entrepreneurial mindset: comfort with whitespace, ambiguity, and building from a strong but non-dominant market position
Outstanding analytical, communication, and executive-stakeholder skills
Graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) from a renowned institution preferred
Minimum 6–10 years of professional experience across consultancy and/or the maritime sector
Second language fluency (German, Spanish, French, or Italian) a plus
Strong desire to mentor and grow the next generation of consultants
