Eurostars Hotel Company, a hotel chain launched in 2005 with over 220 establishments primarily catering to cultural and business clients, is seeking professionals with high growth and development potential due to the strong national and international expansion of the chain.

An important multinational in expansion is looking to incorporate a Maintenance Department Head for one of our hotels located in Zaragoza.

The functions to be performed will be the following:

• Maintain the facilities in correct working order. Carry out the necessary tests to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facilities.

• Control consumption (electricity, gas/diesel, water, energy losses, water leaks, etc.)

• Control materials or installations that may deteriorate with infrequent use.

• Follow management and quality-environmental indicators for the Maintenance area.

• Develop and follow an improvement program to increase the performance of facilities and reduce energy consumption.

• Coordinate and manage problem resolution in the operation and conservation of equipment and facilities, establishing priorities in each case.

• Perform department material purchases.

• Manage spare parts and consumables warehouses.

• Coordinate garden maintenance.

• Coordinate pool maintenance.

• Coordinate the setup of event rooms with in-house audiovisuals and those of the client or usual supplier for events.

• Personnel control and shift scheduling.

• Communication with other departments to ensure the correct functioning of hotel services.

Requirements:

• Vocational Training / Advanced Module in Electricity or Electronics.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in Hotels, large buildings, or large surfaces.

• Intermediate level of English.

• Teamwork.

• Customer orientation.

• Order and cleanliness.

• Attention to detail.

• Knowledge in general building plumbing, electrical installations, Fire Protection installations, fault detection, HVAC installations, and Domestic Hot Water production.

• Very important: Knowledge of Legionella control and prevention (installations with SPA and swimming pools).

• Skills in generalist maintenance (carpentry, masonry, electricity, plumbing, small gardening tasks, etc.).

We are looking for a dynamic person, with sufficient autonomy to manage the maintenance department of their hotel, with the ability to learn and adapt, and service-oriented.
