At DXC Spain, we are looking for an IT Project Manager / TPM to join our great PMO team and participate in an important project in the energy sector.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as IT Project Manager, TPM or in PMO, in infrastructure and/or cloud projects.
Solid foundation in on-premise technology: servers, databases, application servers, and client-server model.
General knowledge of architectures and cloud environments.
Experience in team management, economic management, and integrated service management.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and corporate PPM tools.
High capacity for communication, organization, and customer orientation.
Knowledge in Kubernetes, infrastructure as code management (Terraform), BBDDs (Oracle, PostgreSQL), Microsoft .NET technologies in cloud and classic IaaS/on-premise environments (Active Directory) will also be valued but not essential.
Functions:
Prepare and maintain the planning of infrastructure and cloud projects (timeline, milestones, dependencies).
Manage commitments and deliverables, reporting on milestone status and indicator calculation.
Monitor and control the planned and executed budget against the approved and assigned budget.
Manage communication with stakeholders and coordinate the execution of project activities.
Identify changes, problems, and eventualities that may affect the project, proposing action plans and solutions.
Manage and monitor project risks, defining preventive and corrective measures.
Create and maintain updated management documentation according to corporate methodology.
Record and update information in the Corporate PPM tool within established deadlines.
Review the technical and contractual documentation of suppliers involved in projects.
Organize, document, and lead follow-up meetings.
Prepare documentation for committees (Project Manager, Strategic Planning, Corporate PMS).
Manage the acquisition of hardware, software, or services related to projects (ET, ITEO, or others).
Participate, in more senior profiles, in the productization of new products and platforms.
