ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager leads the full receivables cycle, ensuring timely collections, accurate invoices, strong credit control, and healthy cash flow. The role works closely with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to reduce overdue balances, and support monthly financial reporting.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collections Management
Lead the company’s collection strategy to ensure all outstanding invoices are collected on time.
Monitor overdue accounts and enforce follow up procedures.
Approve payment plans and settlements according to company policy.
Coordinate with Legal for formal recovery actions when needed.
Work to continuously reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
2. AR Reporting & Analysis
Prepare weekly and monthly AR aging reports.
Identify high risk accounts and create action plans.
Track collection KPIs and cash flow forecasts.
Support month end closing, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
3. Cash Flow Support:
Provide accurate collection forecasts to Finance and Treasury.
Monitor daily collections and ensure timely posting to customer accounts.
Highlight any cash flow risks caused by delays or disputes.
4. Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor the AR team (Team leads, accountants).
Set objectives and monitor team performance.
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
7–10+ years of AR experience, preferably in FMCG.
Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to lead a team and manage high volume transactions.
High attention to accuracy, compliance, and deadlines.
