E.ON Power Plants Belgium BV (EPPB), a subsidiary of E.ON Energy Projects GmbH, develops, builds, finances and operates decentralised energy generation plants for industrial customers in Belgium and the Netherlands. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the successful delivery of large-scale on-site energy generation projects, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up

Act as the primary technical project interface between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in DBOO (Design, Build, Own & Operate) projects

Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage interfaces with project development, commercial, procurement, and legal functions

Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and change control processes

Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, environmental requirements, and HSE policies

Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables, and contractor documentation through to handover to the team Operations & Maintenance

Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where necessary

Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications
Requirements
-
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Senior-level experience in technical project management within the energy, power generation, or industrial infrastructure sector

Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale energy generation projects with strong knowledge in EPC and/or multi-lot project execution

Project Management certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage

Experience with permitting processes in Belgium and/or the Netherlands is a strong advantage

Fluent in Dutch (C2) and English (C1); additional language skills are a plus

Willingness to travel with on-site presence depending on project phase
