Mid-Level
Review and validation of drawings of marine constructions and equipment within the limits of the applicable Rules, Regulations and delegations
Continuous development of the level of technical content and data on which the professional judgement is based
Attend meetings and workshops directly or indirectly in connection with design review
Act as focal point for technical matters related to BV Rules & Regulations and national or international Regulations
Prepare reports, time-sheets, account details and other information for further processing
Promotes BV portfolio to clients
Actively participate in the sharing of knowledge and information (Knowledge Management)
Assist on request in marketing matters and client’s contacts upon request
Participate in the training of trainees and junior surveyors
Adhere to the execution of the policy concerning occupational health, safety and welfare
Perform the job if necessary on customer-level, on request of the customer or when more appropriate
Degree in electrical & automation with min 3 years of experience in design either in a shipyard, marine consultancy, supplier or Classification Society
Knowledge of the maritime rules & regulations
Good communication skills
Capability to work both in a team and independently
Fluent in Finnish and English - both in verbal and written
Experience or qualifications in cybersecurity are considered an advantage
