Job Description:
Un poste d’ingénieur Opérations aériennes A400M vient de s'ouvrir au sein d’Airbus Defence & Space à Toulouse. Vous rejoindrez le département « Operational Support Services ».
L’équipe de ce département est composée en France de 25 collaborateurs dont 3 managers.
La mission principale sera de contribuer à la définition des standards opérationnels adaptés à l’A400M et à la rédaction et la mise à jour de la documentation opérationnelle associée, de fournir aux clients le support aux opérations aériennes.
Cette mission devra être effectuée en respectant les règles de contrôle aux exportations en vigueur.
Ce poste nécessite une habilitation de sécurité ou nécessite d'être éligible à une habilitation par les autorités reconnues.
Le poste est basé à Blagnac.
Tâches et responsabilités :
Vous serez responsable des activités principales suivantes :
Définition des standards opérationnels :
Support opérationnel aux clients
Des déplacements professionnels sont à prévoir occasionnellement et, de ce fait, vous devez être disposé(e) à vous déplacer en conséquence.
Compétences requises
Vous avez la formation, les expériences et compétences suivantes :
Titulaire d'un diplôme d’ingénieur (ou équivalent) dans le domaine de l’aéronautique ou une discipline apparentée..
Bonne connaissance des processus de définition et de développement des avions.
Connaissance des concepts, techniques et standards des aéronefs de transport militaire/tactique.
Connaissance des opérations des armées de l’air.
Connaissance des sujets de masse et centrage.
Bonne maitrise des procédures liées à l’établissement de documentations opérationnelles et au support opérationnel.
Une connaissance des procédures liées au contrôle de configuration technique est un plus.
Bon niveau de négociation et de capacité à faire des présentations
Bonnes capacités de communication
Fort esprit d’équipe
Compétences linguistiques : Niveau de négociation en Anglais, Avancé en Français

A vacancy for a Flight Operations Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse Blagnac. You will join the TASTO6 department.
You will contribute in the definition of relevant flight operational standards:
Contribute in safe and optimized aircraft operation through availability of up to date and customized manuals.
Define, write and update these manuals in line with programs milestones taking into account operational and military specificities and in line with aircraft definition.
Contribute in design definition / evolution, particularly for flight operations related matters
Provide flight operations/military expertise and relevant support to any department (eg, Flight Test, Design office,) in aircraft development and certification.
You will also provide flight operations support :
Answer daily customer queries.
Ensure flight operations manuals definition is in line with aircraft configuration at and after aircraft delivery.
Participate upon request in services to be delivered to customers
You will take care of Export Control topics:
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
A. Operational standards:
Contribute in the definition of flight operational standards with any other involved department (eg, design office, certification, flight test, flight training) and, as relevant with externals (eg, operators, authorities, suppliers) , define and write relevant flight operations manuals accordingly.
Ensure continuous update of relevant flight operations manuals according to aircraft definition, new regulations, operational feedbacks and requests from customers, authorities / agencies or internals (eg, flight test, flight training). Liaises and coordinates as necessary with externals (operators, authorities, suppliers…) and internals (training, flight test, design office…).
Manage aircraft configuration to ensure coverage of individual aircraft definition in relevant flight operations manuals
Develop and write specifications of Electronic Centralized Aircraft Monitoring - ECAM procedures under TASTO responsibility (eg, not sensed procedures, normal check lists, tactical check lists).
Prepare projects to be proposed for approval to Airworthiness Authorities on approved Manuals (MMOSEL, AFM, WBM, LMOM AR part)
Support in the Weight and Balance tools development as required
B. Operational support to customers:
Prepare and participate in flight ops support/service activities (e.g. Operations conferences, meetings and visits with operators or authorities, Working Groups).
Contribute in daily flight ops activity with Operators (eg, answer operators questions on flight operations matter) and coordinate as necessary with any other involved Airbus department and certification authorities.
Write flight operational documents to face in-service events, eg, via Flight Operations Transmission - FOT, Operational Engineering Bulletin OEB, ECAM quick update.
Contribute in development / update of flight ops brochures (eg, Flight Deck and Systems Briefing for Pilots) and specific documents (eg, Modification Operational Impact)
C. Safety initiatives: Contribute in the analysis and follow up of in-service and safety enhancement initiatives, when relevant to the job holder’s domain of competence.
D. Aircraft development:
Contribute in aircraft continuous definition upgrade by providing operational expertise to design office on flight operations topics (ECAM, Electronic Flight Bag - EFB, systems…).
Follow-up of flight test activity for impact on operational documentation.
E. Tools development: Contribute in the design and implementation of innovative tools and processes for Flight Operations products.
F. Training:
Contribute in the development of specific courses to Operators (e,g, ECAM customization, aircraft systems courses, E-doc customization, Performance, Dispatch under MMOSEL, WBM).
Deliver these trainings.
G. Accident investigations: May support accident investigations and associated lawsuits, if any.
You will have the following skills and experience:
Educated to Aeronautical Engineering degree or equivalent.
Good knowledge of Aircraft design and development processes.
Knowledge of Military Transport/Tactical Airlift concepts, techniques, standards.
Knowledge of Air Forces Operations: concepts, techniques, tools and standards.
Knowledge of Weight and Balance topics.
Good command of operational Documentation processes.
Good command of operational Support processes.
Experience of configuration Control Management processes.
Good negotiation and presentation skills.
Good communication skills.
Good team player.
Negotiation level of English.
Advanced level of French.
